Volleyball
Overview
Volleyball is one of Emerald Youth's fastest-growing sports for girls and young women. Young ladies from Knoxville's city neighborhoods participate in our Emerald Force Volleyball Club, which is comprised of a recreational league for middle and high school girls, and competitive club teams. Additionally, some school-specific teams are sponsored by Emerald Youth.
Online preregistration is required for all volleyball events. Once registration links and specific season dates are available, details will be posted. Be sure to check back for updates!

Clinics/Camps
We offer a series of clinics and camps in June for rising 5th - 12th graders to learn the basics of volleyball or take their game to the next level (i.e., skills and gameplay).

Who:
Rising 5th - Rising 12th Graders
When:
The following Mondays and Thursdays:
6/1, 6/4, 6/8, 6/11, 6/15, and 6/18
Times:
5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. || Rising 5th - Rising 7th graders
7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. || Rising 8th - Rising 12th graders

Haslam-Sansom Ministry Complex - Lonsdale

What:
Athletes will sharpen their skills in serving, passing, attacking, setting, and more while building stamina, reaction time, and speed with our trainers. All skill levels are welcome! Players will be grouped by skill level upon arrival at their scheduled time to ensure the best training experience for everyone.

- $35 a Person
- Online pre-registration is REQUIRED for participation. Registration is not completed until you receive a confirmation email.
- Gets you access to all 6 bootcamp dates!

*Registration closes: At full capacity OR on 6/18/2026
*There will be no waitlist once we reach full capacity. If additional
spots become available, registration will reopen online.
2026 GIRLS VOLLEYBALL SKILLS CLINICS (Click Here for Flyer)
Who: Rising 5th - Rising 12th Graders
When: The Following Tuesdays: 6/2, 6/9, and 6/16
Where: Haslam-Sansom Ministry Complex - Lonsdale, 1740 Texas Ave
What: All skill levels are welcome! Players will be grouped by age and skill-level upon arrival to ensure the best training experience for everyone.
The same schedule will take place each day:
5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Serving / Passing
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Blocking / Floor Defense
7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Setting / Attacking

Emerald Youth serves children and young people who live in the heart of our city, in communities and neighborhoods such as East Knoxville, Mechanicsville, Lonsdale, Oakwood-Lincoln Park and other urban areas. The Academy league is intended for players from these city neighborhoods and/or children who attend Knoxville's city/urban schools.
