This year’s camp hosted 90 children, ranging from 1st grade to 12th grade

One of our favorite weeks of summer is JustLead Camp which just wrapped up. This week we had 230+ kids, 50+ adults, 10 buses and vans, and lots of new experiences and memories made across town.

The 25th annual Emerald Youth Breakfast on May 4 was attended by its biggest crowd ever that gathered together to hear how God is moving in Knoxville through Emerald Youth Foundation.

Our volunteers are essential to carrying out Emerald Youth’s mission. We are grateful this week and every day for the dedicated service of our volunteers who are positively connecting with and impacting the lives of city kids.

Our coaches and volunteers go above and beyond - Not only do they coach and invest in kids on the court or field, but they also are investing in many lives outside of sports.

Our Wednesday volunteer meal teams are AWESOME! Two teams - one serves at Emerald UMC Church and the other serves upstairs in the Emerald Youth building on N. Central Street - have been planning, buying, and preparing meals for years!

JustLead’s afterschool program for elementary and middle school students includes tutoring, homework help, health/fitness/nutrition instruction, field trips and service learning opportunities.

Our Calling & Career Ministry is preparing teenagers for post-secondary experiences and to help them find a Christ-centered calling.
