The Time Is Now campaign is focused on raising promising, Godly, young adult leaders in Knoxville.

In order to do that, Emerald Youth Foundation must:

  • Raise visibility and awareness of the mission and impact of Emerald Youth.

  • Recruit staff and volunteers to serve young people engaging with Emerald Youth.

  • Secure the financial resources required to sustain ongoing operations and growth opportunities.

The Time Is Now

In the last decade, Emerald Youth has expanded the involvement of young people in programs, including youth ministry programs and the various year-round sports programs, increased support for high school students seeking post-secondary opportunities, and engaged more youth in discipleship. Still, there is more work to be done. Research shows that supportive relationships correspond to a child’s avoidance of risky behavior.

Recent parent surveys indicated positive outcomes and impact in Knoxville as more and more young people are seeking support and guidance from Emerald Youth. In addition, parents and families are actively seeking ways to improve the faith, learning, and health of the young people in their lives.

Recent Surveys Indicate:

Emerald Youth Foundation is intensely and faithfully focused on raising more urban leaders who love Jesus Christ and will help renew their communities

  • Emerald Youth is engaging more young people in a deeper and more meaningful way. The Time Is Now to ensure the Youth Development Pipeline continues to nurture and develop the next generation of Godly leaders that will lead and transform Knoxville.
  • Emerald Youth Foundation expects to engage more youth in sports programs, enroll more scholars at Emerald Academy, and grow more disciples for Jesus Christ. The Time Is Now to ensure we are recruiting and retaining the best teachers, staff, and volunteers who are serving as mentors, coaches, and role models every day.
  • Emerald Youth participants and families praise how the ministry and sports programs are transforming lives. The Time Is Now to secure funding to support program and facility expansions across the city to meet the increasing demands and ensure EYF’s sustainability for years to come.

Our Goal

By 2027, 20% of urban Knoxville youth will be relationally and comprehensively engaged in programs to achieve faith, learning, and health outcomes, including annually raising promising, Godly, young adult leaders for Knoxville.

We are asking the people of Knoxville to believe and provide financial support and time.

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
— John 10:10
