How can I involve my child/youth/young adult in Emerald Youth's programs?

We welcome more young people from Knoxville’s city neighborhoods such as East Knoxville, Mechanicsville, Lonsdale, Oakwood-Lincoln Park and other urban areas. Emerald Youth programs are intended for participants from these city neighborhoods. Please contact us for more information if you have questions.

Who do I contact with questions regarding a donation I made to Emerald Youth?

First of all, thank you for your donation to support our work. Should you have any questions about your contribution, please contact us via our online form and include your contact information and the general question you have, but please do not provide specific details about your gift such as bank information, credit card numbers, etc. An Emerald Youth staff member will follow up with you.

WHAT IS EMERALD YOUTH FOUNDATION'S DONOR PRIVACY POLICY?

All information maintained in any form about Emerald Youth Foundation donors, donor prospects, and friends is confidential. Emerald Youth is committed to respecting the privacy rights of all donors.  This information may be accessed and used by Emerald Youth staff solely for the benefit of Emerald Youth Foundation.

Donors’ personal information is used to process donations and to produce receipts. An Emerald Youth staff member may communicate with donors via the email address or phone number that is provided with the donation. Opt-out links are available at the bottom of every email.

Emerald Youth does not sell or share personal information, and we do not send mailings on behalf of other organizations. 

Emerald Youth has implemented a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of donors’ personal information. Donors’ personal information is contained behind a secure network and is only accessible by a limited number of employees who have special access rights. All of our service providers maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard donors’ nonpublic personal information, including the prompt disposal of all unnecessary customer information.


How is Emerald Academy connected to Emerald Youth Foundation?

Emerald Academy is Knoxville's first public charter school and is managed by Emerald Charter Schools, which is a separate, not-for-profit, non-sectarian organization launched by Emerald Youth Foundation in 2014 to help close academic gaps faced by students in the heart of our city.
