Worship Arts

Worship Arts Overview

Emerald Youth’s Worship Arts Ministry is focused on raising up Godly leaders through arts who understand worship biblically and use their gifts to praise God and minister to others.

It is a multi-disciplinary worship arts program (music, dance, theater, production, creative writing, visual arts, ministry training, and career exploration) designed to provide exposure and skill-building:

  • Participants know their gifts are God-given and sharing their gifts is ministry, not performance or entertainment

  • Clear leadership pathway that develops young people from elementary into young adulthood

  • Strong connection pipeline that links youth to churches and the broader community

  • Volunteer-supported model that operates as an independent ministry program and partners with local churches, artists, and schools

  • Equips families to appreciate their children’s gifts and actively participate as volunteers

Emerald Youth Choir

Emerald Youth Choir is open to young people from elementary school through high school and is a great place to get connected with the Worship Arts Ministry. Youth will learn the basics of singing, worship, worship leading, and music theory while growing in confidence and community.

During rehearsals, young people may be divided into smaller groups for age-appropriate instruction and skill development.

2026 Season:

  • Start Date: Thursday, September 3

  • Weekly Schedule: Thursdays, 5:30 - 7:00 PM

Worship Arts Leadership Track

The Worship Arts Leadership Track is designed for high schoolers interested in pursuing a future in worship arts or the music industry. This track is most appropriate for young people pursuing their faith who display leadership and musical skills and want to advance.

Through regular meetings, mentorship, and hands-on training, youth will be challenged to grow in their faith while developing the musical, technical, creative, and leadership skills needed to serve and lead within worship arts.

Young people will also receive education and exposure to careers within the music industry, helping them explore future opportunities and take meaningful next steps toward their goals.

Space is limited. High schoolers must apply and be accepted into the program.
