Stan Allen is a graduate of Farragut High School and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from which he earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing.

He considers it a privilege to work for Emerald and use the skills God has given him to help advance ministry with young people in Knoxville’s city neighborhoods.

Stan, his wife, Darby, and their children are actively involved at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church, where they love connecting with and serving families. Darby teaches at A.L. Lotts Elementary School.

Stan’s favorite weekend activity is to have a “night in” with family and friends. He enjoys playing games – correction, winning games – and watching “Friends,” “Big Bang Theory” and “The Office.”

Fun fact: he is originally from Hickory, North Carolina, the same hometown as Tennessee Basketball Head Coach (and Emerald Youth board member) Rick Barnes. BUT…Stan bleeds blue for the Kentucky Wildcats!
