Overview

Emerald Youth Foundation operates the Emerald Force Soccer Club, an inner-city youth club that provides opportunities for urban children to participate in soccer teams.

The Emerald Force Soccer Club consists of an academy league (recreational) and competitive club teams, as well as recreational and competitive teams for young adult men and women, including a National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) for men and a Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) for women.

 

Academy

The Emerald Force Academy League is a recreational soccer league for children ages 4-14. Practices and games are held at the Sansom Sports Complex, located at 234 Dale Ave in Knoxville, TN.

Emerald Youth serves children and young people who live in the heart of our city, in communities and neighborhoods such as East Knoxville, Mechanicsville, Lonsdale, Oakwood-Lincoln Park and other urban areas. The Academy league is intended for players from these city neighborhoods and/or children who attend Knoxville's city/urban schools.

 

Club

Emerald Force Club teams are for more advanced soccer players. Practices and games are held at the Sansom Sports Complex, located at 234 Dale Ave in Knoxville, TN. Emerald Force Club teams also travel and compete against teams throughout Knoxville and East Tennessee.

Emerald Premier League

Knoxville-area youth and adult teams can participate each spring in the Emerald Premier League. Check back for details about the 2018 season.  

 

NPSL & WPSL

Emerald Force Soccer includes teams for young adult men and women.

The Emerald Force men’s team competes in the National Premier Soccer League  (NPSL) and the women’s team competes in the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL).
