Academy

The Emerald Force Academy Soccer program is a recreational soccer league designed for athletes new to the game of soccer. The purpose of the Academy Soccer program is for participants (PreK-5th Grade) to learn age-appropriate ball handling/dribbling, passing, and shooting skills, as well as a basic understanding of game strategy and tactics. The Academy Soccer program functions as a developmental feeder program for the Emerald Force Soccer Club.

Fall 2026 Academy Soccer

Registration Details:

Opening Night (Parent Meeting/Meet Your Coach):

• August 27th from 6-7pm at Sansom Sports Complex

Practices:

• Bigs Age Group: Tuesdays from 6-7pm at SSC (First Practice on September 1st)

• Littles Age Group: Thursdays from 6-7pm at SSC (First Practice on September 3rd)

• Micros Age Group: Thursdays from 6-7pm at SSC (First Practice on September 3rd)

Games:

• All Age Groups: Fridays from 6-7pm at SSC (First Game Night on September 4th)

End of Season:

• Last Week of October

Club

The Emerald Force Soccer Club exists to give competitive boys and girls from U9 - U19 age groups the opportunity to compete with clubs across the region. Emerald Force teams participate in the Emerald Premier League, the Tennessee State League (D1, D2, and D3), the Midsouth Conference of the USYS National League, and a variety of tournaments and college showcases around the Southeast region.

Practices and games take place at the Sansom Sports Complex located at 234 Dale Ave in Knoxville.

Middle School Sponsored Teams

Emerald Youth Foundation sponsors teams for middle schools in the heart of Knoxville. Practices and games take place at the schools and Sansom Sports Complex.

Fall 2026 Middle School Girls Soccer

Registration Details:

Evaluation Tryouts:

• Week of August 17th from 4-5:30pm at Sansom Sports Complex or Respective School Grounds

Practices:

• Tuesdays & Thursdays from 4-5:30pm at SSC or Respective School Grounds

Games:

• Monday Evenings at SSC, Kickoffs at 5:30pm & 7pm

End of Season Tournament:

• First Week of November
