A Knoxville native, Sara has long been connected with Emerald through volunteer work, including over a decade with JustLead and mentoring through the Calling and Career Ministry. Her commitment to equipping the next generation through Christ-centered relationships led her to join the team professionally—a step of obedience and purpose.

Sara holds an MBA from Western Governors University and is currently pursuing a master’s in Christian Leadership at Liberty University. She previously worked in human resources, wellness, and organizational leadership, most recently serving as the HR Business Partner and Wellness Specialist at Summit Medical Group.

An active member of Hillcrest Community Church, Sara has served in various leadership roles and women’s ministries. She also volunteers with Joni and Friends, serving on the Family Retreat Leadership Team each year.

Outside of work, Sara finds joy in waterfalls, crafting, writing devotionals, and adventuring with her husband and four children. She loves sunshine, tacos, Tennessee football, and being near the water—places where she feels most at peace and closest to God.

Her life verse, Matthew 5:16, reflects her heart for ministry: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
