Roxy Lyons, Jr., has a passion for sports, specifically baseball and softball, and seeing youth come to know Christ through athletics.

His career in financial services provided him the opportunity to grow in leadership roles at SunTrust Bank, the Community Bank of East Tennessee and Primerica. Roxy also worked in custodial services at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, as foreman, and prior to joining Emerald Youth, he served as head custodian for Knox County Schools.

Roxy first connected with Emerald Youth by participating in pick-up basketball games and devotions at North Area Ministry Complex.

He, his wife and two children are members of Grace Baptist Church and plug into his hometown church, Shiloh Baptist, where his mother is the associate pastor.

When he’s not mentoring and coaching young athletes at Emerald, he enjoys spending time with his family, grilling out and traveling.
