Flag Football
Emerald Youth serves athletes who live in East Knoxville, Lonsdale, Mechanicsville/North Knoxville,
and South Knoxville. Space for athletes in other areas is very limited.
Overview
Our middle school flag football program is designed to give students an exciting opportunity to stay active, build friendships, and develop teamwork and leadership skills in a fun and supportive environment. Open to players of all experience levels, with a desire to learn about fundamentals, sportsmanship, and confidence both on and off the field.
Programs/Seasons
2026 Season:
Ages: Rising 6th – Rising 9th Grade Girls
Cost: $35 (Includes: Team Jersey)
Season Runs: June 25 - July 30
Practice Schedule Details:
All practices will be held @ Sansom Sports Complex (234 Dale Ave, Knoxville TN 37917)
60 minute practices
Time slot 1: 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Time slot 2: 8:00pm - 9:00pm
First practice begins on June 30
2 practices per week
Practices will be Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays
Games will be on Tuesdays & Thursdays

Emerald Youth serves children and young people who live in the heart of our city, in communities and neighborhoods such as East Knoxville, Mechanicsville, Lonsdale, Oakwood-Lincoln Park and other urban areas. The Academy league is intended for players from these city neighborhoods and/or children who attend Knoxville's city/urban schools.
