Although born in Nashville, Caitlyn spent many years in Port Huron, Michigan where her father worked in the automotive industry. In 2007, her family moved to Knoxville for a new job opportunity and made Halls their home. She graduated from Halls High School in 2012, where she met Jordan, her high school sweetheart now husband. They have one son, Barrett, and enjoy their close proximity to both extended families.

Caitlyn attended the University of Tennessee where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in hotel, restaurant, and tourism management. Upon graduation, she worked as an accounting specialist and event coordinator for a while before taking on the role of executive assistant to U. T.’s athletics director in 2017. During her time at U.T., she also received her MBA from the University of Tennessee, Martin and later transitioned to a new role at Tombras as director of administration. 

Caitlyn has long had the desire to bring the Lord’s love, grace and compassion to others. So, when the opportunity arose to work at Emerald, she was eager to pursue it believing this was the path the Lord had for her. The scripture that has held a special place in her heart since high school is Colossians 3:1-17. It reminds her that we are all called to serve the Lord and keep our eyes on Him, clothing ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

During her free time, Caitlyn enjoys reading, hiking to cool sites, rollercoasters and gardening. She’s a big foodie and loves finding gluten-free items for her sweet tooth. In the summer, you will find her with her family at Norris Lake next to a bonfire, eating s’mores or out looking for ladybugs with Barrett.
