Bailey Dykes joined Emerald Youth after relocating to Knoxville from Lindale, Texas. Drawn by Emerald Youth’s Christ-centered approach to serving young people across the city, Bailey is grateful and expectant to see how the Lord will work through this ministry and is excited to play a role in it.

Bailey is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where she earned her degree in Food Science before spending three years on staff at Sky Ranch, a Christian summer camp in Texas. Her time there strengthened her love for relational ministry, discipleship, and creating environments where young people can grow in their faith and character.

Two meaningful passages of Scripture for Bailey are James 3:17–18 and Isaiah 52:12. James reminds her to seek wisdom that reflects the heart of God—pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy—especially when navigating decisions. Isaiah 52:12 offers her peace and assurance that the Lord goes both before and behind her, a comforting truth she carries into new seasons of life and ministry.

Before moving to Knoxville, Bailey was an active member of Living Acts Church in Tyler, Texas. She has begun the process of finding a church home locally and looks forward to getting connected in the Knoxville community.

In her free time, Bailey enjoys playing sports, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and just about any activity that allows her to be with people. She loves building relationships, creating shared experiences, and embracing opportunities to gather with others.
