Madison grew up in Tennessee and Oklahoma. She attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she studied child and family studies with a concentration in community outreach. Upon graduating, she began full-time work with the Emerald Youth Foundation.

During college, she served as a traveling camp director for the WinShape Foundation. This experience fueled her passion to serve, lead and develop others. She also volunteered at an Emerald Youth partner site for the entirety of her college career, which resulted in a deep love for Knoxville and the communities within it. 

Outside of work, you can often find Madison cheering on the Nashville Predators and the Tennessee Volunteers. She and her husband David love to spend their time hiking with their beloved dog Mabel, conquering LEGO sets or trying out new board games. They also love spending time with their 7 (and counting!) nieces and nephews.
