Darwin joined Emerald Youth Foundation as a part-time hire, and transitioned to full time in summer of 2025. Originally from outside Knoxville, he moved here to attend the University of Tennessee, where he is currently completing his senior year.

With a heart for the next generation, Darwin is passionate about impacting youth the same way mentors have impacted his own life. Darwin attends High Praise Church in Maryville, and remains as a youth pastor at Destiny Church of Chattanooga. A verse that shapes his daily walk is Matthew 6:33: “Seek first the kingdom of God and the rest will be added unto you.” It reminds him to keep God first and trust His plan.

Darwin played Division I basketball his first two years of college and hopes to one day start his own entertainment company. In his free time, he enjoys making short films, taking photos, listening to music, cooking, and playing basketball. He is the youngest of six siblings and comes from a family deeply rooted in ministry—his mom is a pastor and his stepdad is a minister.
