Britton is a Knoxville native and earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from Maryville College. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and is also very involved in the National Strength & Conditioning Association.

He uses his passion for health and sports performance to share the Gospel and seeks to foster growth and development with city youth by nurturing faith, empowering the mind, and strengthening the body.

Britton and his wife, Robyn, have two children and attend First Presbyterian Church downtown. They’re very involved in local missions.
