AJ moved to Knoxville after working on the leadership team with Kids Across America. Prior to that he was a site director for Breakthrough Miami in Miami, Florida. AJ is eager to practice servant leadership and do what he can to enrich the lives of Knoxville’s urban youth.

Because his dad served in the Navy, AJ, along with his parents and two older sisters moved around quite a bit, living in multiple states. He attended Nansemond River High School in Suffolk, Virgnia, then on to study at Barry University in Southern Florida where he majored in psychology.

AJ attends Belmont Baptist and has a desire to grow in Godly maturity while helping others to do the same. He enjoys playing basketball and would love to play professionally. He also likes roller-skating, working out, and occasionally playing video games.
