Keightly grew up moving between the Chicago and East Tennessee area, but she considers Knoxville home. She came to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee, where she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in child and family studies.
Keightly came to Emerald to help build up servant leaders in the community and will be ministering to high school students through the Calling & Career Ministry. Keightly said, “I always knew I wanted to help individuals understand more about how the Lord has uniquely wired each of us and what that means for the abundant life that He has promised.”
Outside of Emerald, Keightly is involved with Young Life and leads a small group for current Knoxville Young Life leaders. She also volunteers with Junior Achievement and serves on the Partners in Education Advisory Board for Knox County Schools.
During her free time, Keightly loves to travel, go on walks with friends, watch Netflix and check out local restaurants as a self-proclaimed foodie.
