Jacquelyn first moved to Knoxville to attend Carson-Newman University, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. After college, she worked in development for a startup non-profit that served the mental health community in Alabama. She said, "this position allowed me to gain insight of what my true calling was - serving the least of God's people".
She is excited to work at Emerald Youth to help build a deeper community of support for city children and help meet their daily needs.
Jacquelyn and her husband, Ryan, have a daughter Levi. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, coloring to relive stress, writing in journals and singing and dancing. She said that if a song is playing she has to get up and move.
