Since the beginning of our ministry, sports have been a vital way we’ve connected with Knoxville’s urban youth. Today, Emerald Sports is a year-round, comprehensive program of leagues, teams, and clinics that include the following:

Basketball – Our boy's basketball league is in action each spring and open to all middle and high school youth across the city.

Swimming – Elementary through high school youth compete during the summer on the Emerald Sports Swim Team. An official member of GKAISA (Greater Knoxville Area Interclub Swimming Association), the program open to beginning and experienced swimmers.

Volleyball – Middle and high school girls hit the court each fall to compete in our volleyball league.

Wrestling – Elementary and middle school boys participate each winter on our wrestling team, competing in statewide AAU events. The team is open to beginning and experienced wrestlers.

We also support the city and county neighborhood parks and recreation programs, in addition to local school sports such as baseball and football, chaplain opportunities and hosting end-of-season banquets.
