Camping and Adventure

Through our JustLead Network of 21 churches and faith-based organizations across the city, many adventures and activities are offered to youth (separate from our traditional after school and summer program).

Weekend Camp Retreats – JustLead youth go to places like Doe River Gorge, Camp Ba Yo Ca, and Resurrection, an annual youth conference in Gatlinburg, TN.

Outings/Adventure Trips – “Sleeping with the Sharks” at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, seeing the Vols and Lady Vols play at Thompson-Boling Arena, and fishing on River John’s Island are just a few of the activities in which JustLead youth have participated.

Summer Celebration - More than 500 JustLead youth and adults gather to celebrate the conclusion of summer program. The evening includes a concert by local artists, games, food, and fellowship.
