Section 702 of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 provides that the religious discrimination law will not apply to a religious corporation, association, educational institution or society with respect to the employment of individuals of a particular religion to perform work connected with the carrying on by such a corporation, association, educational institution or society of its activities.
AmeriCorps is an opportunity to make a big difference in your life and in the lives of those around you. It’s a chance to apply your skills and ideals toward helping others and meeting critical needs in the community.
Make this difference locally with Emerald Youth by serving:
--Full-time in support of a summer day camp summer of 2014
--Part-time in support of a structured after-school or evening program with elementary, middle or high school age young people fall of 2014 – spring 2015
A living allowance will be received while you serve and an education award given after you successfully complete the term.
Contact Rachel at firstname.lastname@example.org with subject line stating either “Summer 2014 AmeriCorps” or “Fall 2014 AmeriCorps” and you will be followed up with accordingly.
