Cedric Jackson, a Knoxville native, answered a call into full-time youth ministry in fall 2001 and joined Emerald Youth Foundation in January 2002.

He led Emerald Youth's Magnolia Avenue location for three years, served as JustLead director for seven years, and then launched and directed the Emerald Fellows program for four years. He presently serves on Emerald Youth's development team, working with churches and donors throughout greater Knoxville.

In addition to his role with Emerald Youth, Cedric has pastored First Baptist Church Roseberry City since 2008.

He has studied at Lincoln Memorial University, Pellissippi State Community College, American Baptist College Extension Center, Knoxville Interdenominational Bible Institute, and pastoral care training through the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

In June 2008, Cedric married Viviane Manigat; they have 6 children and 4 grandchildren. Cedric is proud to be a fan of the Big Orange and enjoys cheering for his LMU Railsplitters during visits on alumni weekends.
