Key Roles Available With Emerald Youth Foundation

Emerald Youth Foundation, a 30-year-old faith-based nonprofit that serves young people in the heart of the city, is seeking applicants to fill multiple key, paid roles within the organization, including both part-time and full-time positions.

The organization’s driving vision is that every child, in every neighborhood would have the opportunity for a full life – the kind of life Jesus spoke of in John 10:10. Each year, it serves nearly 3,000 young people in areas of faith, learning and health.

Available positions include seasonal roles for the upcoming summer, as well as full-time, long-term positions. Jobs include those who will serve directly with Knoxville’s young people, such as paid youth workers, sports ministry roles and positions within the organization’s Calling & Career ministry, which engages young people as they prepare to move to and through post-secondary training and college.

Interested applicants should apply online at emeraldyouth.org/careers, as the organization is looking to fill vacancies right away.

“Like organizations across the country and across our community, we are looking for qualified individuals to join our team,” said John Crooks, director of marketing and communications for Emerald Youth Foundation. “What we believe sets these roles apart, however, is the opportunity to make a significant impact – both in the lives of young people and in our community. If our mission resonates with you, we are asking you to reach out and help.”

Emerald Youth offers a competitive benefits package for full-time roles including health, vision and dental insurance, as well as retirement, among others.
