How is Emerald Academy, Knox County's first public charter school, connected to Emerald Youth Foundation?

Emerald Academy was approved by the Knox County Board of Education in June 2014. As Knoxville's first public charter school, it is managed by a separate, not-for-profit, non-sectarian organization, Emerald Charter Schools.
